Blog Woes

I've lately been having some blog woes... meaning that when I publish a blog, my subscribers haven't been receiving emails letting them know that I published a blog. This certainly isn't a major problem, seeing as I have fewer than fifty subscribers, but it is kind of a problem, you know?
Anyway. I got some help from the Wix folks last night (The guy's name was Sebastian! No joke! His friends don't call him "Bas" like my Sebastian, but he says his good friends refer to him as "Sebas," which is fun. Real Sebastian told me that he might read one of my books about Fake Sebastian, and if he does, he is supposed to email me through my website so that I can write a blog about it... because that would be HILARIOUS!!!) and now I think subscribers might get a notification.
Truly, I thought about posting a blog that literally said, "Mom? Are you getting this?" but I figured I could come up with something more interesting. So... here is the most interesting thing:
Today in class, I had my students complete a Monday Melody about Bella's Bartok's song "For the Children." It's not just every English teacher who takes a band home with her, you know, so I think I got some cool points for that story. When I told my mom, she said, "You should probably start every year with that Monday Melody." I then explained that we are only allowed to repeat bands every other year (mostly to eliminate repeat Taylor Swift songs), but that it was no matter because I still have meeting-the-band stories about Reel Big Fish, Trampled By Turtles, Goldfinger, and TopHouse... and I'll likely have Hozier by next school year. I was like, "Mom? My cool points can't even be tallied at this point."
So that's today's story. For those who subscribe to my blog, if you could let me know if you receive an email notification regarding this blog, that'd be swell!
Here's a Bella's Bartok video, just because:
(These are the six complete strangers who came home with me from the bar... and then made breakfast for me in the morning... and who are some of the nicest guys I've ever met.)
